Empowering Recovery Through Evidence-Based Medication Treatment Options

At Serenity Treatment Center, Inc, we help facilitate access to medications as part of our commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. We believe in utilizing all the tools at our disposal to minimize withdrawal symptoms and fight cravings – setting our clients up for success in the battle against alcohol and opioid dependence.

Our comprehensive approach, led by our experienced staff, allows access to a range of medications and innovative devices designed to address withdrawal symptoms and cravings while preventing relapse. By partnering with community providers, we ensure our clients can access MAT options like Lucemyra, Suboxone, VIVITROL, and The Bridge.

Once prescribed, we administer the medications via individual sessions and provide the support needed for successful treatment and recovery from substance use disorders.

Medications That Help Manage Withdrawal Symptoms

VIVITROL

At Serenity Treatment Center, we pride ourselves on being pioneers in offering VIVITROL as part of our outpatient treatment program. Administered by our on-site Registered Nurse, VIVITROL is a once-monthly injection that has shown great success in helping clients maintain long-term sobriety from alcohol and opioids. Unlike traditional medications like suboxone or methadone, VIVITROL is a non-addictive, non-opiate medication-assisted treatment solution that works by blocking the effects of opioids and alcohol in the brain.

Lucemyra

For individuals experiencing symptoms after stopping the use of opioids or stepping down from treatment with suboxone or methadone, we offer support through Lucemyra. Lucemyra is a non-opioid medication proven to alleviate symptoms of opioid withdrawal. While we do not directly prescribe Lucemyra, our team can assist in connecting clients with medical professionals who can prescribe this medication for withdrawal management. Our goal is to ensure that individuals have access to the resources they need to navigate any stage of recovery safely and comfortably.

Suboxone

Suboxone contains a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone, which work together to reduce opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. We assist individuals in finding qualified mental health providers who can prescribe Suboxone, provide comprehensive support and counseling throughout the treatment process, and offer ongoing monitoring to ensure its effectiveness in supporting recovery.

Bridge: A Drug-Free Opioid Withdrawal Device

As part of our commitment to providing innovative treatment options for opioid withdrawal, we offer Bridge. This FDA-cleared device provides mild electrical stimulation to nerves around the ear, reducing symptoms associated with opioid withdrawal. Our on-site registered nurse can administer the Bridge in a short, non-surgical procedure, providing drug-free support to progress through your treatment plan without the fear of withdrawal.

Accessible Recovery: Medicaid and Insurance Accepted

We believe everyone struggling with an addiction deserves access to quality detoxification services, not just in expensive residential programs or inpatient treatment. That’s why we’re one of the few outpatient treatment centers accepting Medicaid and most major insurance providers. Don’t have insurance coverage? Don’t let that be a barrier to recovery! We have alternative options available for those who may not have insurance, so don’t hesitate to contact our office to learn more!

Our Approach to MOUD

At Serenity Treatment Center, our clinicians are knowledgeable about the various medications and devices used in MOUD treatment. While we do not directly prescribe medications like Suboxone, our team provides referrals and comprehensive support and guidance throughout the treatment process. From individual sessions to ongoing monitoring, we are dedicated to using the latest advances to empower individuals on their path to recovery.
