All About Our Traditional 26-Week Outpatient Program
Group therapy forms a cornerstone of our approach, offering you the opportunity to engage with a small, supportive group focused on various aspects of your healing journey. In these sessions, we address essential topics such as:
Coping Skills
Learn practical techniques to manage stress, cravings, and triggers, empowering you to navigate challenging situations with resilience and confidence.
Relapse Prevention Strategies
Develop personalized plans and strategies to identify, avoid, and effectively cope with triggers and high-risk situations, safeguarding your progress as you recover.
Life Skills Development
Acquire essential life skills such as communication, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making, equipping you with the tools necessary for a successful and fulfilling life.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Explore and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors associated with addiction, gaining insight into your emotions and behaviors to foster positive change and sustainable growth.
Motivational Interviewing Techniques
Engage in collaborative conversations empower you to explore and resolve ambivalence, set goals, and make positive behavioral changes aligned with your values and aspirations.
Traditional drug and alcohol treatment spans 26 weeks, with group meetings 1-2 times a week. However, our recommendations are based on your initial assessment and can be adjusted over time to ensure they align with your individual needs, commitment, and progress.
Our Approach To Treating Substance Use Disorder
Here at Serenity, we prioritize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the cornerstone of our therapeutic approach. Through CBT techniques, patients learn to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors associated with addiction and co-occurring disorders.
Our groups focus on improving quality of life while providing education on the disease model of addiction, empowering individuals with the tools and understanding needed for lifelong recovery.
Who Is Our Traditional Outpatient Program Right For?
Our program provides adults 18 and over with a flexible approach to drug and alcohol rehabilitation, allowing them to maintain their daily routines while attending weekly or twice weekly meetings. This program is ideal for those who:
Have completed a higher level of care, such as inpatient detox, PHP, or intensive outpatient programs.
Are in the early stages of substance addiction or have a mild form of the disorder.
Are seeking additional support following a relapse or need ongoing assistance in maintaining sobriety.
However, if you have a long, untreated history of substance use disorder, our Intensive Outpatient Program may be a better option for your needs.
