Located off of Butterfly Lane in Frederick, MD, Luna House offers the perfect blend of city convenience and suburban comfort.
Residents benefit from easy access to job opportunities and essential services, many within walking distance or reachable by public transportation, including a nearby bus stop.
Our home provides a welcoming, safe environment where women can manage daily needs, build practical life skills, plan for the future, and smoothly transition back into the community upon completing the program.
Our Clinical Services
We offer a range of clinical services designed to support each woman’s unique recovery journey. While living at our 3.1 halfway house, our clients our clients can expect to engage in multiple clinical services provided by our team of professionals to create a solid foundation for recovery.
Case
Management
Ongoing coordination of care to ensure you receive the necessary services and support tailored to your individual needs for mental health and medical care, legal assistance, employment, housing and more.
Individual & Group Counseling
Work individually and as a group with a counselor or peer support specialist to address personal challenges, develop coping strategies, and set meaningful recovery goals.
Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Receive evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to address substance use disorders.
Local Mental Health Services
Access treatment via our network of local providers for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma through individual therapy and/or psychiatric care.
Medication Management
We provide integrative health services by collaborating with experienced doctors and nurse practitioners. These professionals can prescribe and oversee medications for mental health or addiction treatment, while also addressing your overall health needs.

Prevention
Engage in programs and counseling that help identify triggers, develop relapse prevention strategies, and promote long-term recovery.
Peer Support Specialists
Receive guidance from our Certified Peer Support Specialists. With lived experience in overcoming addiction, they lead recovery groups and provide one-on-one mentoring.

Transportation Services
For women who need transportation when starting our program, or who need a ride to critical services or meetings beyond the reach of public transportation, Serenity provides transportation services to our 3.1 halfway house clients.
